PERFORMANCE COACHING WORKSHOP - LEVEL 1

I created these intensive workshops as an addition to regular Guitar and Bass Lessons. These classes focus on performing - particularly for first-timers! I've incorporated these workshop tutorials to accomodate those who have reached a certain level of competency on their instrument but have little or no performance experience. The workshops are perfect for people of all ages and abilities but just haven`t taken the next step to play live. These workshops are open to any instumentalists and are taught one on one or in groups for ensemble performers. Any group member can take any additional classes they feel are necessary for their preparation for a live show. These workshops will give you the confidence and musicianship skills neccessary to perform competently. The workshops are perfect as prep classes for the Band Programs.
The cost of the workshops are $25.00 per person per half hour session and $45.00 per person per hour session.

The live performances are set up by Studio 211 and a $50.00 venue fee for each performer will apply and is due before the performance date. There is a $10.00 admission charge at the door to the general public for each event held by Studio 211.

PERFORMANCE COACHING WORKSHOP - LEVEL 2

The Level 2 workshops are suitable for those who have some live playing experience and want to polish up their act! Tutorials for Level 2 performers include areas such as improving your musicianship skills and stage presence, dynamics, the study of song forms and styles, key transposition and putting together effective setlists. We also look at some technical equipment options for sound production and quality such as microphone types and techniques, amplification options for acoustic and electric guitars and general P.A setup for band, duo or solo gigs.
The cost of the workshops are $25.00 per person per half hour session and $45.00 per person per hour session.
